About Us
Taiwan Zebrafish Core Facility (TZCF) was established in January 2010. The core facilities were located at two sites and cooperative management by Academic Sinica (TZCAS) and National Health Research Institutes (TZeNH) base on the consideration of the needs of the community and geographical location. In addition to the support of the institutions mentioned, it has also been funded by MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology) grants and functioning as a national core facility and service platform for 9 years (2010-2018). To legally distribute a variety of zebrafish strains and share them with the domestic research community, the core facility signed material transfer agreement (MTA) with The Zebrafish International Resource Center (ZIRC) at Oregon, United States and European Zebrafish Resource Center (KIT) at Karlsruhe, Germany. Beyond that, TZeNH has also been accredited by AAALAC International (Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care, International) since 2015. Currently, the TZCF is continuous providing services and become a part of “Taiwan Zebrafish Technology and Resource Center” which is one member of “National Core Facility for Biopharmaceuticals (NCFB).
